Seasons

Another sunrise
The stars fade
As I reflect on the
seasons change
The leaves are turning
The summer's come and gone
With winter pressing somehow life still thrives on

I remember a time when so did I
Like a warm summers rain
I simply wash away the pain

But winter freezes
Something so deep inside
Numbs the feeling
Oh, right before your very eyes
But I'd start the new year
Just like a newborn child
And dodge the shadows of a sun that shines

I remember a time, and, oh, I'd try
Like a warm summer's rain
Simply wash away the pain

Wash away the pain that I feel
That I feel in the depths of my soul
And the
seasons they change
They change from the light to the dark
From the warm to the cold
And you feel it from the young to the old

And like a warm summer's rain
I wash away the pain

Solo

And as the sunlight fades away
Still the
seasons change
Seasons
change...
